SSCX DOWN! WTF

Posted by maeniel at March 05, 2006 | Comments (0) | TrackBack

As many of you have probably noticed Chaos Zone and in fact all SSCX zones are down. If you were lucky enough to be in Chaos Zone just before SSCX started blocking I.P.'s trying to login then you got treated to some funny abuse of powers!

For those that didnt see in Chaos pub "Life" was given smod and then the fun began! Anyone with powers started using super ships and then some of the public joined in as well. Yours truly was on a super ship turret with Nelson, speed, yeodan, and the lovable Mousey! We didn't have enough targets to destroy so we began to un-spec everyone in spec that was afk! HAHA good times.. You also missed "Life" spamming racials in green text as was expected but the highlight was "Life" threatening to ban "MonkeyBoy" if he didn't talk in blue text! haha
So back to SSCX ..

Many rumors abound as to why SSCX went down. The one I heard being told the most was that some person (someone threw out the name Prime) ratted out Xal (who provides stolen bandwidth for SSCX from his job) to his bosses. They then took actions to regain the stolen bandwidth and began blocking I.P.'s trying to connect to SSCX. This is just a rumor and if I hear anything more concrete from reliable sources then you'll be the first to know!
So what now ?? WHAT ABOUT PRACS AND GAMES ON SUNDAY?
Well as far as league goes games are cancelled.

All the upper staffs are in contact with each other and work is being done to get a new server (which is the easy part) and some bandwidth (which i hear costs roughly $500-$1500 a month). There's talk of having everything back up by Monday or Tuesday (hopefully).
As far as general practices go Nelson (with the help of Philplus ;) ) has managed to get a sub-arena in T3 the gauntlet. This sub-arena has our settings our league map and our bots, however the bots arent recording stats last I heard.
Just visit T3 and you can keep enjoying 4v4 in the usual arena (4v4prac1, 4v4squad1) This is also an excellent opportunity to steal some players! So everyone be on your best behaviour and lets show these super zoners what SVS is all about! Also try and thank the T3 staff, mainly NightHawk, who helped make this happen.

So that is that. I'll keep you all updated as i hear more.
SUBSPACE 4 LIFE NUKKAS!!

Cashew's Regular Season Awards

Posted by Cashew at October 27, 2003 | TrackBack

Here go my completely unbiased (haha well I guess you have to be biased somewhat when you pick awards) awards for pro, iml, and aml. We'll have a broad range of categories and overall will try to encompass a whole lot and as little as possible in the same sense. This is for regular season not for post season so that all squads can have a chance.

Best Squad
Pro: Assassins 11-3
I just like Assassins better than BIA. Assassins just get to work and do it fast. If they are going to lose you can count it happening fast, and if they are going to win you can count on it being even faster. Besides they have everyone's favorite speccer a pez to listen to when you watch a game which is a unique pleasure in itself.

Runners-Up
BIA 12-2
Sure they have a better record, but they aren't that much fun. Matches get long, players get talky, and then well who cares its BIA. They can be the Rodney Dangerfield of premir times. No Respect.

IML: RedShift 12-2
Sure IML isn't even over yet, but go RS go. I like them the best because every game can be a fun little anagram and who doesn't love word puzzles? What was that squad going to be called again...can't remember but it was good and defintely axed by staff. More loyalty and fun in this squad than you can count speckles on a wall. RedShift prevails as everyone's favorite squad to ream their ass in IML.

Runers-Up:
Money 12-2
Okay same record, but then again its Money. A bunch of kids that should be in pro and lots of speculation on what they are doing and why we have to put together super squads. Well who cares, their aliases aren't as much as RedShifts to find out, because well RedShift's are anagrams.

AML: Tweaked 12-1
Tweaked is no the tweaked you saw last season. In fact its barely even the same people...I think their entire roster save a few are new people, but god they are funny. No one really knows how they win so often or dominate everyone. I mean sure DukeHazard and Savage are good...but when Br'er owns you in lanc something is wrong. They just mesh well and have extremely good leadership and decision making abilities. Tweaked is a power house push offense that very few squads can put up a fight against without getting sperated. There's nothing in AML that really compares to it.

Overall Dissent/Assent Combo
Assent and Dissent both have very good rosters and aliases galore. Its hard to argue that with a squad's talent when they can split and still have depth in both rosters and still be top 4 in both leagues. Entertainmen & Miner and company have their shit together and are doing an excellent job at making Dissent a squad to be feared in chaos.

Most Valuable Players
Pro: Three - Prescense 40-14
Three gets the MVP even though he doesn't have the best record solely because of how powerful of an asset he is. If a play needs to be made, three is there to make it. He does have one MCP, but it shouldn't matter that much as he has made pivotal plays over 18 times according to MasterRater. A verifiable killing machine, for the first time in history three comes first.

Runner Ups
Underlord - Prescense 21-1
Well here's another prescense guy that performs extremely well. Its a mystery to me how they can lose at all with these 2, but then again 2 pilots don't make a squad. Underlord is your solid bet not pick up an MCP. In fact, he's your solid bet to not even die. Whether its because he subs out or not, it doesn't seem to matter as he has 21 scalps under his belt and one mere kill against him. Underlord and three playing together is scary, but I tend to value three more as he tends to come up with the big plays while Underlord attempts to not die.

IML:
cdb! - Mutiny 21-6
There would be hardly a Mutiny in IML if it wasn't for cdb!. cdb! is a devestating player and combos well with Testify to bring in the big plays. Aside from the Dissent rolling of Mutiny, cdb! has been a major player to contend with. With 4 squad MVP's and several clutch plays he tends to be the man to go to make a play happen. He may not be number 1 in stats on masterrater, but he makes his team what it is by being there.

LAF I OWND U - Reshift 29-9/Dr Lee Epstien - RedShift 31-13
They don't seem to be a seperate entity. In fact they, seem to be the same pilot. Each has a nice record with a similar ratio and each has an early choke out in a major game. Now the question is which is better? Well I guess I'd have to go with a foul wind over el presidente. Mainly because I think it'd piss EP off more if I picked afw than vice versa. Without either of these guys I have a feeling RedShift would be rolled more often than they already were. They seem to be the combo behind the team.

Runner Ups
Nova - Money 24 -11
Someone from Money had to be on here. A squad of strong pilots that really needed to be in pro, money overpowered almost all of IML. Nova would have to be one other clutch players because he seems to be where he should be at all times and tends to make the big plays when the big plays need to be made. Well I guess Money isn't in the spot to need big plays so lets just say that Nova gets a lion's share of the kills early on.

Janus Zeal - Dissent 27-6
Ahh miner. What can be said about miner? Well without him Dissent can still fall back on Big BANGER or Fatal, but without him I do feel that they wouldn't be quite as strong. Miner always seems to push the team forward and lead the offense. I guess he seems to lead the play on the field and tends to get the kills more often than the deaths. For this reason he shines above his teams other stars.

designator - Birds of Prey 28-20
This is the one true deserving player that if a squad was without they would be in trouble. He doesn't have the best record, nor does his squad, but without him BoP wouldn't have inked out over 500. He is a clutch player worthy of any team's starting roster in IML and is easily the largest target on BoP for squads to target to break up their offense. I hate to say it but without him BoP would be nothing.

AML: Savage - Tweaked 32-6
Savage is prehaps the best captain and pilot in AML. When he plays he performs, when he doesn't his team still wins. He went from above average last season as Taim to super star as Savage. Not much can be said about him. I haven't seem him be an idiot once nor have I seen him ever so much as even minorly choke. A captain that understands that without his team improving he can go nowhere, and a captain that realizes he can come in and change the game Savage is 100% the best in AML. No one close. A leader in and out of the game who truly understands how to put together and play a squad.

Runner Ups
More Majorum - Liquid Inc 26-3
Totally replaced majorum with Malmox in mind. I forget. So everything if you read earlier was about Malmox. However, Majorum is the offensive leader of Liquid Inc and tends to make the plays and play as the pivot ship. When a play needs to be made ...which is alot for the low scoring Liquid Inc, Majorum usually is that go to guy that sweeps up the clutch. My way bad, sorry. Malmox is good too, but needs work on his captaining skills. He did improve as I reffed a bunch of their games and saw how he started to learn the rules the hard way.

Grills Gone Wild - Fighting Foodons 31-9
Why Grills? Why not Pasta for Foodons? Well quite simply pasta lags out and dies too much. GGW tends to play as solidly as any player can in the craziness that has become AML. Grills tends to make every crucial play when it needs to be made and never to let the other team play a key one off of him.

Most Improved Squad-
Pro: FuN! 7-2
FuN! was fairly good in the previous season, but they are even more solid this season. They had a compelete revamp and seem to be doing fairly well. With the only returners being Dioxide and his KKK (that'd be Kyll, Kane, and KURT). He seems to fair well picking up several solid players from all around that can hold their own. Overall there wasn't that much improvement, but it is a much more player friendly roster with the loss of life, neacsu. The one that should hurt that most would be the loss of Underlord and Zei, but instead of falling down they have stepped up without the aid of any particuarly super strong pilots.

IML: Birds of Prey 7-6
They weren't IML last season, but the season before that they were hardly AML. Tounted last season as AML favorites they quickly plummeted after a few bad recruiting decisions..mainly the acquisition of Dark Hour which helped to undo a tenative merger between BoP and Abnocto Pestis. Hands down they were supposed to be good and then their knees buckled constantly every weekend. Enter this season. They are now doing better in IML than they did in AML. And even more surprisingly its the a very similar roster to what they had last season losing really only the bad elements ...read further: Gig and Dark Hour. A few new players have entered, but they mesh it fairly well. If Sumi can quit recruiting duds, they could see an IML championship season in the future.

AML:Happy Mob 9-4
They vastly improved their play talent, roster, and record. A lot attrituble this to their roster, but their players all improved as well. Bushes and crumbs both have risen from scrub to a true AML talent. Its for this reason that they are the most improved AML squad and not because of their roster which was just some creative recruiting in picking up gaara, phixion, simonsays, et al.
Runner Ups
Wretcheds 9 - 4
I called it from game 5 that they won that Wretcheds was not as good as everyone speculated. A lot of squads choked against them and they really weren't that great. They practiced fairly bad and seemed to get error after error in their favor. If anything I'd say they were the luckiest squad out there in AML. However, their teamwork and playing skills improved greatly from last season when they were a mediocre squad struggling for a playoffs spot. Undefeated until make up round they proved their true mettle after losing 4 games in a row.

Epik 8-5
Okay these honkies really did improve, but sadly its more of a few select people over a whole squad. They have good teamwork for their play combo's F|E|A|R/|E|AR and passplay/sug. Their other players however you just rarely see and when you do they fail to impress. But to go from near bottom of AML to near top is impressive. If they lose one or part of one of their combos I don't see next season holding as well as this one did.

The What the Fuck Award
Pro:DOMINATION
Okay I have an idea, lets take a squad with a bunch of old names that hold countless pro championships..well not countless but way more than is worth figuring out and then lets forfiet and quit. The apparent answer to the loss of Interpid was this all-star squad to dominate pro. Even the name said it, but then they go and no show and you know what....its not like its no names.. zei, Zeit, A-Poc, nivaG, JohnDoe...did they all die? Did they finally get a life? Or is there something more sinster a foot. OMG there it is right there on the roster Spy. No wonder they're all gone.

IML: IML
IML is too pious. I can't come up with a thing that really fucked up in it except for the fact that Happy Mob is doing better in IML than AML. Well whatever, I'm sure I missed something, but come on what the fuck IML controversy is what you need!

AML: Deathknight
An extremely strong preseason Heaven was an easy pick to win AML or at least their division. Then it happened. Foodons threw a game and then had an amazing win the next week in a rematch and talked enough shit to Deathknight to get him to retire for like the 3rd time I've personally seen this year. Then he comes back on aliased on Alcoholism as Destructive Nature, brought them wins made alcies a favorite to win it all and then was shocked and appalled that staff would think it was him despite mid and ip matches. Well alcies get forfieted and slowly but surely almost fall apart. Deathknight still admantly denies it was him, but hey maybe it wasn't....and maybe OJ is innocent. To Deathknight...what the fuck?

Overall Vorbis
This one is still not even played out, but Vorbis wins the overall "What the fuck award" for all of premier. For those who don't know Spitfire nts'ed in a playoff match and 0nether appealed it. Refs (blur) didn't catch it at time because MR was down and well maybe blur is sadistic. Well it gets more fun because the team Spitfire plays for wins and of course Onethervoid appeals. Well at this point Vorbis who must think himself invicible or be stupid (and I'm leaning towards the latter) gets the name 0nethervoid+ and retracts 0nether+'s appeal. All I can say is ...that's fucking hilarious and "What the fuck" where you thinking.

Mr/Mrs Congeniality
Pro: Spitfire
Spitfire has arguably the most bigotted and crude website you can have without pictures of dead babies, diseases, and of course the KKK lynching some friendly african americans or jews. With meer words alone he has managed to distinguish himself apart. www.scottishjihad.com is a great read for the whole family. Beyond that spitfire brings his great ramblings and idiocy into subspace for all of to enjoy when we aren't reading the website. Unfortunately spitfire may not be around for awhile which will sadden us all.

IML: Semi
Semi wins this over El Presidente and some of the other IML yahoos solely because he manages to bridge the gap. We all swooned over his "I'm not that queer ass Sumi" post that made it into the AML forum months ago, and who can't help but love being called a cock lover by some random guy named Semi because you're playing a game. It bring a tear to my eye and I'm sure everyone else's everytime he manages to post something on the IML forum about how the orginal poster or some other person that replied to it is a poser/chaos whore/AML yard trash/hypocrite. So here's to the answer to all our problems - Semi. Ms IML Congenality.

AML: High Voltage
High Voltage has become such a staple in subspace nowawdays that there is even High Voltage-ease. You know you hit the big leagues when people can say "stop talking like HV."...and everyone knows what it means. STFU YAMS GG SONNED PWNED $$. Just a few of the many words that HV repeadetly posts on anything and everything. Season after season he talks of the next season's surprise squad that never comes around and then he hops on some squad before getting kicked off. So why an award? Is it the verbal stylings...or perhaps the constant posting...or maybe it lies with the countless aliases that are outed for the most part without half an hour of being created...then again it could be his self proclaimed ownership of all things premier along side his Team $$...or it could just be 8========D~.

Best Predictor/Rambler
Pro: life
When you talk about talking shit, the name life usually comes to mind at some point. Well life isn't the number 1 Pro predictor, but he does have the ability to pick the winner more often than any others, even in close games. Not much really to say here as the predicting in pro is fairly weak and usually gets torn apart with posts such as "life loves the cock".

IML: Random.
Random's well random ramblings on IML boards seem to be at least a fun read. The reason he wins in his division over some of the other predictors is his take on different subjects and his willingness to call out aliases. If only we had someone like him in AML that would tear apart squads such as Timeless.

AML: Cashew
Yes yes. Total bias here, but I am leading in the MasterRater prediction venue and have under my belt Haiku and yes picture predictions. Eat it up. ~73% correct prediction rate for over 180 games is pretty good so latte freaking da!

Rules, Refs, Bots, & Players Part 1

Posted by Cashew at September 24, 2003

I practice all week, almost every week. Get at least twenty or thirty practices in easy on the average week. Does it help? Well I still suck, but come Sunday I try to play my game and my beautiful prac bot is gone and instead some dipshit is in spec controlling everything. I didn't have any issues with the practcies all week so why do I need this fuck to ride me come game time? Didn't that Cerium guy make a bot so we wouldn't need this + sporting mother fucker? Whatever. I just want to play and this fuckers telling me I have my named spelled wrong...Sue me bitch.

Chances are we've all felt some version of that come Sunday when the ref starts to take over the match and guide it into starting. It's even better yet when the ref fucks something up and now your team is down because of it. Read on for a scathing (eww nice adjective) look into the world of the ref's, behind the scenes and how they run games. This is just Part 1 of a 3 Part series

Part 1: Staff/Ref Aptitude Test
First off I gave several refs a ref-aptitude test. These include some of the lesser known or trickier rules...but also the rules which tend to drastically effect how a game ends. Please note all rules can be found at: Rules

Question 1:
Its an IML game and a player is lagging in and out before match and they continue to keep him as a starter. Almost 5 seconds after go is called he lags out again how do you proceed when the team wishes to put him back into game?
Common Answers:
5 said let pilot back in burned
1 said restart match
4 said let pilot back in unburned
Correct Answers:
Depends on if you're a rule follower or a traditionalist. Tradition says this player goes in unburned because they didn't engage. Rules say he's BURNED baby!
The Written Rule:
10.1 Max duration of lagout and number of lagouts allowed
If a player disconnects or lags to spectator mode, they have 5 minutes to return and notify the host ref that they are coming back in, as long as they have not lagged out 3 times. If it is the player's third lag out, they cannot return to the game, but may be subbed. If the player does not return and is not subbed within 5 minutes, the player's slot's lives will be converted to deaths.

10.3 Burning upon return from lagout
A player who returns to the arena after a lag out must use up ("burn") all ITEMS (reps, thors, portals, decoys and rockets) after changing to the right frequency. The ref will most often do this, unless he does not have a Bot to assist him. If a bot is not present the player must use all reps, rockets, decoys, warps, and thors, before rejoining combat. The player must not send decoys or thors in the direction of the battle.

Question 2:
Its a pro game. All 4 slots have been subbed for by one team. They message you wishing to sub a slot after a player who just died so a new pilot can ride out the last life. How do you proceed?
Common Answers:
4 say to put in the sub burned
2 say to put in the sub unburned
3 say that player can't sub in
Correct Answers:
Oooh the debate on this one. You see the player would be subbing a subbed slot and its pro so the question is...if after a death do you treat this as a regular sub or a "lagsub." Its tricky. But the correct answer according to the rules appears to be; pilot goes in and pilot is burned. Although it can almost be seen how you don't burn the player as well.
The Written Rule:
8.6p Multiple subs inside the same playing slot
Each player slot may be subbed for more than once. What this means is that a slot may be subbed after the first and second death.

9.1p Lag sub definition and procedure
If a player subs a sub that player is called a "lag sub". Another "lag sub" may sub the previous one at any time. All "lag subs" must burn everything as if they lagged out and returned to the game as described in rule 10a.

Question 3:
In an AML game the score is Warbirds 3 and Levi's 4 and the regular match time ends. Which Team wins?
Common Answers:
All refs answered Overtime Hoorah!
Correct Answers:
The correct answer is overtime. The rule is confusing but in this situation its overtime baby.
The Written Rule:
11.2 Victory by score
If the regulation time period expires, the squad with more kills shall be victorious, PROVIDED they have satisfied the minimum kill requirements determined by number of players starting for the OTHER team:

- 4 Players starting on the other team: 6 kills minimum. 2/3 players starting on the other team: 4 kills minimum. (e.g., squad A starts 3 players, squad B starts 4. Squad A scores 4 kills, squad B scores 5. Squad B wins. Squad A needed 6 minimum kills since Squad B started 4 players. Squad B needed 4 kills minimum since squad A started less than 4 players.)

Question 4:
Same teams. Its Overtime now which hopefully you answered and the Warbirds kill a Leviathan 5 seconds before overtime ends. How is the game recorded?
Common Answers:
6 its a tie!
2 lets do some double Overtime Action
1 said birds win
1 said levi's win
Correct Answers:
Only one ref realized I never said if it was playoffs or regular season. That ref got the bonus coookie because there is no time limit in Overtime in playoffs. In regular season, however there is a timelimit and if the birds killed a pilot it would make the score 4-4 aka a tie.
The Written Rule:
12.3 Win requirements for a non-tied game
If a squad has a one-kill advantage but has failed to satisfy the minimum kill count numbers listed in rule 11.2, the squad with the higher score will need to make one kill to win, and the squad with the lower score will need to make TWO kills in order to win. If the team with the lower score only manages to get one of the required two kills by the end of OT then the match will still be recorded as a TIE for both squads.

Question 5:
A captain requests a sub 1 minute before the 10 minute "Sub Burn Mark." The subbed player continues to play and doesn't spec until after the 10 minute mark has passed. Do you burn the incoming sub?
Common Answers:
7 refs answered this pilot gets burned
1 ref decided a 30 second leinency was in order
2 refs said that pilot is not burned.
Correct Answers:
Well at the start of the season it was very unclear but tradition said not to burn the player. However after the Blacknike and Tweaked appeal in AML it is quite clear that the player is now to be burned. Expect the wording of this rule to change because even staff doesn't agree with how to do it as of right now.
The Written Rule:
2) Subbing procedure:
It may not have been strickly the policy before, but a ref should no longer force any player to spec. That means if you want a sub to take place you must:
- PRIVATE message the ref about the request
- Have the player being subbed out in spec (not in ship)
A sub will happen when BOTH those items are accomplished.

Question 6:
A pro player lags out and they wish to sub in a new player. What is the correct procedure?
Common Answers:
8 refs said they this pilot comes in burned
1 ref said this pilot comes in unburned
Correct Answers:
Well its a pro sub. All non-death subs in pro are BURNED baby. Almost a perfect response but hey woot woot.
The Written Rule:
I actually couldn't find this situation written down. Prove me wrong or maybe demishadow needs to actually put it back in.

Question 7:
A player is constantly spamming racials during a match. How do you handle the pilot? He is flying.
Common Answers:
6 refs - Do some sort of warning followed by a shut-up if continued & request a sub
1 ref - Do some sort of warning then *kill and convert lives
1 ref - Do som esort of warning then *kill and request a sub
1 ref - Plea to upper staff to handle
Correct Answers:
Give some sort of warning and then *shutup the player. We don't ban for verbal abuse. Its messing with pracs, bots, staff, and games that get you banned.
The Written Rule:
TEAM CONDUCT
It is the responsibility of the teams to always play within the boundaries of the rules, uphold any team specific restrictions, and to play all their games in good faith. It is the responsibility of the captain of the team to make sure that the team is not breaking any premier league rules and that the team is always playing with the desire to do the best that they can. The league may take any actions they deem necessary if any team is outside these boundaries. Good sportsmanship is required of all Premier league teams (excluding any "friendly" trashtalk that does not go beyond what is allowed under the player conduct set of rules). Violations during matches may lead to overturning match results and suspension from league.

Question 8:
How long is overtime?
Common Answers:
5 thought 10 minutes
1 thought no limit
2 thought 30 minutes
1 thought 15 minutes
Correct Answers:
The bot may announce 30 minutes..but the correct answer is 10 minutes this season. Unless of course its playoffs and then the answer is FOREVER.
The Written Rule:
12.1 Match and Overtime length
A match will have a 45 minute time limit. If the winning conditions as defined above are not satisfied after the original 45 minutes has expired, a 10 minute overtime period will be played and will begin IMMEDIATELY upon conclusion of the regular time period with no break in between.

Intepretation of the results
Interpret the results yourself. Rules suck. We shouldn't need them but it turns out we do. The refs did pretty good as a whole. Only one of the refs I asked got them all right and low and behold it was demishadow, the Rule God, whom I will talk about and with in the next section.

Good Sportsmanship and 4v4

Posted by Cashew at September 14, 2003

Its Sunday 4pm, your squad is just showing up for the game and no one has been on all day to practice but you. The game is going to start in 20 minutes, and the dread starts to kick in...where are my teammates? One other guy shows up right before the match is called and another one shows up shortly after that...there's three of you now, and the fun is just starting....

Well with all of this happening and ref's understandably being very unforgiving about the whole no-show situation. Lets illustrate a little story of sportsmanship.

Today my squad Corrupt played SS Crips. As some of you AML'ers may know SS Crips is a tight squad with like 6 players. These guys play for 100% fun and to be together. Squads are announced and only their captain, buckkwild, shows up on the announce. After a few quick phone calls (yes phone calls) he gets 2 other guys in. Ref can't delay/postpone game or allow Non-Team Subs so they are have to just start play with the 3 of 'em. The normal thing to do would be to just attack them and take advantage of the one man down situation.

Instead, we did something that confused some of my players as well as the ref. Myself and buckkwild made an agreement that gave buckk more time to show that 4th player, meanwhile we just sat in opposite corners of the map and waited for maccks to show. Then began to play once he was properly burned as per the rules, and of course whooped the ever loving shit out of them.

In this day and age of merciless killing, what kind of things can we do to make the game more fun for a squad instead of kicking them while they are down? Can we start to foster some similance of civility towards fellow squads no matter who they are and perhaps try to heal some of the bad reputations that have been building around premier squads?

What I invite you to do is to leave a comment on this post about other times when a squad you saw went beyond the expected to be good sports.

A Big Hi-Ho and Welcome

Posted by Cashew at September 12, 2003

Hi and welcome, this is your new premier news site. For the most part its usage and purpose is still in debate. What will be posted on here is pretty much up in the air. All I can tell you is it won't be what you might expect from your run of the mill premier news. Your horrible editor and coordinator for this will be me, Cashew A few other people involved as of right now are Cose (I guess he's like my boss) and Ace (programmer and general owner). This site will have a lot to offer in terms of information and general good humor. Serious is for the regular premier.shanky.com news, this is well, everything else. Alright A little FAQ time:
Q: This site looks shitty and beat up:
A: The site is a work in progress expect constant changes for awhile (once Ace has some free time).

Q: Who will publish articles?
A: The staff is well non-existent and will be formed soon. Who can be staff? Anyone is the answer. More on this in the next article: Check the Wanted Section, biatch.

Q: What kind of articles can we expect on this site?
A: Anything. Game Reviews. Game Previews. Fantasy Match-Up's, Player Interviews, the Coveted Choker/MVP of the Week Interview, Why this sucks/is great. If you can think of it and type it. It just might be news here.

Q: Aren't there other sites like this?
A: Uh yeah. While some sites are out there this one is hopefully going to be permenant. No more great news site for a week, then dead the next week. This will hopefully become as checked and as active as the forum's.

Q: You suck. Get out of here.
A: Right back at you. That's not a question. Actually come back again.

Q: You're competing with my site! Why?
A: Because we can and will destroy you or maybe we'll just live in peace.

Q: Can my news/zone/etc site work with yours?
A: Sure I have no problem having some mutual linkage and shout outs. This obviously isn't for everything. Its for premier stuff and maybe more as it evolves, but just contact me or someone else on staff and we'll talk to you about it.
