How did week 1 shake up when this weeks games had finished
BIG wins for Gods, Domination, EF and anarchists this week no suprises with the first 2 but Ef were a convincing winner over Victimise, considering their turbulent off season this can be declared a minor shock. Congratulations!!!
4 games this week all went the distance quite surprising for a league that is usually fast and furious, Warlords edged past Secret no thanks in part to a lag induced fuck up by yours truly. Reds squeezed past SFa 10-5 but the match of the week saw Hitlist give a very good account of themsleves against Wretcheds where Recreance can feel very aggrieved to be MCP with a 1-1 record. Anarchists look good allready this season slipping into gear effortlessly. Scythe and ender are hot property and whoever Tertain is (im so out of touch with gay name changers) is ruling the roost for them allready
CZ look like they will be amedium tier squad, but they only played 1 preseason game so not much to report here

DOMINATION vs Liquid INC
Domnation could be an all conquering team aliasers or a bunch of no hopers.. they might not even show Korgoth is trying to make a name for himself on the forums and in game but nothing much else known
LI have deteriorated badly in the last few seasons losing both preseason games this season. Maybe it was just preseason blues, they still have the roster just maybe not the desire

Gods v Untarnished
Gods are the team to beat this season allready.. it will take a mammoth effort/choke for this team to lose a game any time soon. Look to Genocide to provide the spectateable moments this season
Untarnished have allready had the pleasure of facing up to gods and got thumped. Expect more of the same i Just hope freakmonger doesnt get hurt too badly. Its not that they are that bad, its just gods will probably roll everyone over this season

EF v Victimise
Ef have struggled allready this season without 2 of there best players this might be a season too far without key talent. Aramen will hold the line ably but needs 2 pilots to step up from the bench to make EF playoff candidates
Vict seem to be getting the "scheduling stick in the ass" award at the moment with dodgy times being set by staff. if Vorb carries thru on his threat Vic lose by 1
Reds vs Sfa
Reds have oberic reds have not a less else.. its good to see old squads come back with new faces its not so good seeing them struggle so badly. Hopefully next season they will all be better for the experience
SFA are the cast offs from Sfe that got forced up after winning AML last season.. shame exceptions couldnt be made cause Mauler surely belongs in AML where his skills are more suited

Secret vs Warlords
Secret great squad great guys great lag just we dont have a whole of commitment anymore.
Warlords have a good chance of being a top squad this season led by Mizerie and his sysop powers (its a joke ok) these should make the playoffs comfortably. Shame they will be startig 0-1 after i break open the can all over their heads

Crips v Externals
Dont u love Crips same roster every season same result every season. Bukk is like the old man who is still with his childhood sweetheart even though her tits are near her ankles and her arse covers the moon.. he could do so much better, But its his 1 and only love ah how sweet
Externals look good on paper look good in practicing but have stumped up 2 defeats allready, That should change this week though and will set them on the road to the playofs nicely

Hitlist vs Wretcheds
Hitlist have performed ok in preseason and with a nicely assembled roster should cause some upsets along the way giving better squads tough games along the way
Wretcheds will easily make the playoffs this season from the lighting division which looks considerably weaker than Thunder this could harm there chances come playoff time if they dont get enough challenges along the way

I am amazed how people still pick me as MCP week after week when in X amount of seasons ive never had a major choke or never died out 1st in a meaningful game. Do you people not see that im a pussy who is content sitting around soaking up damage while my teammates get all the kills and the "glory", without ever putting myself in serious danger of dying.
Unless im 0 reps 0 rckts. People need to learn the value all over again of not dying or if they cant do that then making sure they fight as hard as they can to stay alive for as long as possible.
ZdeathX is a prime example of a good player with poor standards of life/special management.
ZDX will always put himself in danger of dying when out of reps and or rockets just to get a full ship again, so he can go solo rocketting for the kills. When good solid teamwork will always prevail over individual "skills" in a 4v4 match up, only a few very rare occasions has 1 man ever won a match let alone a season for a team, and the collective power of 4 has and always will be the key to succesful Premier league squads.
It is hard to pick 1 team that has 1 outstanding player and 3 mediocre players that have gone deep into the playoffs.. usually it is the squad with good overall talents and who each know there game plan and style of play of there teammates that will succeed.
Which brings me nicely back to the title.. MCP never?? never say never but i know my duty to the team and for that reason that are lots of players who deserve MCp before i reach that far into the barrel
No not spring league ..
Aml looks like it will have another drop after forever silent failed to schedule and then show for the game today. Expected? kinda. AMl has always been the league for pre season drop outs and nothing will change this season. With a high turn around of teams there will always be a level of unstableness, that the other leagues tend not to have.
Ways to lessen this are few and far between, resurrecting Spring league has been mooted about often, but no squad can keep its players happy playing "organised pracs" every week.
Another way is too have static divisions with good player tracking, and then promotion and relegation between divisons. But again this hampers new squads who have to start at the bottom of the leagues and if they recruit a lot of top talent its a long and very boring road for all concerned!
Mizerie's attempts too make AMl more newbie friendly are well founded but in reality are nearly impossible to implement. AML is the home of the squads who dont crave any kind of commitment.
90% of teams are just happy to play together, prac sometimes in the week and then have 1-2 hours of competitiveness at the weekend. Forcing whole squads or individual players to move up will just force them into retirement if they dont want this level of commitment. For a league without much new talent entering the front door, this is a doomsday scenario with no happy ending.
I have played IML for 2 seasons and Pro for 8 weeks both were good experiences but allthough i found pro to br easier than IML where the intensity is high every week, rather than with pro where it is only high in the playoffs, because the same teams make playoffs every season.
I wouldnt want too be forced into praccing every day. It is hard enough to get people to prac anymore after 9 years of existence let alone to do it every day!
many things change is Premier but 1 thing stays the same for a majority of people, it is just the chamaraderie that keeps them coming back, without that maybe they wont come back anymore
