Covert Agent - Abusing power since 1997

How long will Covert Agent be allowed to use his powers to no end other than to further his own fragile ego? What will it take to get him removed from power? I offer here PROOF that Covert Agent abuses his powers whenever he likes, and yet continues to get away with it time after time.

It all started one day in a 4v4 practice game against Nightwatch. Cloud was doing his usual daily prac-and-talk-shit routine when one of Nightwatch's players died out early. Instead of asking for permission to end the practice, or finishing it out 3v4, Covert decided to use his power to step in, take the bot, and end the game prematurely.
Naturally Cloud was not willing to stand for this. I can only imagine the ranting Cloud unleashed upon Covert Agent, but we do know that atleast one word was directed at CA: "faggot".
At that moment, Cloud earned himself a permanent ban from Premier League. Despite being a "harmful influence to league", Cloud has many friends in Premier and even has been granted the responsibility of chaos moderator. Can any of you name an incident where Cloud was banned from chaos? Or from dueling zone? Or from powerball? I challenge you to find one occurance. So far, I have not.

As I tried to reason with Covert on this ban, it became apparent to me that the ban was not based on anything Cloud said to CA; rather, Cloud was banned because Covert Agent THINKS Cloud was a harmful influence to premier league, as demonstrated in the email I recieved from Covert below:

"You are missing the point. Cloud has been a harmful influence to
league every since he started. I see no reason to allow him to
continue to drive other players away from the game. He has had more
oppurtunities to follow the rules than I can count and if he was
going to do it, he'd have done it by now. I will not remove Cloud's
ban.
Covert Agent"

> Dear Covert,
> There is no reason to ban someone for a month for using racial slurs NOR for
> "mod abuse", in fact there is no reason to ban anyone at all for any of this
> when you have the perm silence option. So I will kindly ask you to please
> remove cloud's ban, as it has been about a month since you instated it.

Very eloquent, however this email is lacking one important element: REALITY.
Let's take Covert Agent's first point, for example. CA claims Cloud "(will) drive other players away from the game." Answer me one question: How many people has Cloud REALLY driven away from league? Now answer me another question: how many people has Covert Agent BANNED (mostly without justification) from premier league? I can name one person CA has banned, but where are all the players Cloud drove away? Do they REALLY exist?
Covert's second point: "He has had more
oppurtunities to follow the rules than I can count and if he was
going to do it, he'd have done it by now." How many rules did he break by calling Covert Agent a faggot? I would hardly consider it to be moderator abuse, expecially under the circumstances. So, was Cloud ever going to follow the rules? In truth, on this day he never broke any.

IT GETS WORSE.

I decided to follow up on this event with an examination of my own. I did a bit of asking around; it would seem that Cloud is not the only victim of Covert's fragile ego combined with nazi-like power use. Finally, I performed a lengthy little test myself to see first-hand whether or not he really does it for the league, or to satisfy his own ego.

Ever since the day of Cloud's ban, I have called Covert a "faggot" every time he enters the same arena as me. I do not harrass him for lengthy periods of time (so as not to provoke anything for "mod abuse"); merely, I say a few words to him as I am passing by, then I move along with my daily business. I did this for about a month, anytime I saw him. All in an attempt to make sure he had strong hatred for me when the 'test' finally came.

And the results:
As I was sitting in spec after a practice before I logged off, I decided to throw it out in a response to Orbital:
"I DID NOT SAY NIGGER WTF!"
Immediate and permanent, unnotified silence, and without just cause or reason, merely because Covert does not like me.

I am not Cloud. I do not have a history of getting banned, silenced, or otherwise. In fact I have never been banned from premier, I have never been silenced, and I have never so much as had a lengthy altercation with a premier mod/smod/sysop. Yes, I have been known to "talk shit", but lately even I have made quite an effort to tone this down as a captain and ref of pro league.
Typically this "offense" would involve a first warning, final warning(ocasionally), temporary action (short ban/short silence), long-term action (month+ ban/silence), and final action (permanent ban/silence).
Did I get any of the above luxuries? Not with Covert Agent. Instead, I was bot-silenced for an undeterminate amount of time, without warning or notification. Actually, I did not know I was silenced at all until I tried a ?chat followed by ?lag with no response from the server whatsoever, and not for sure until I returned to see the bot's "You have been silenced" message.
In doing this he walked right into my 'trap' as it were and proved to me once and for all that he is nothing more than a power-hungry, pasty pimple-faced nerd.

What happened to the natural order of warn, short action, long term action, and final action?
His name is Covert Agent, and while he is in control league will continue to decay as it has been ever since his first season as pro sysop. (In which he didn't even announce playoff format or entry qualifications until the end of the season, might I add)

Enjoy your seasons with Covert Agent.

Who wants to be a star?

Orgies, assassinations, 7 fingers and a cap who wanted to kiss the head teacher. The truth behind BIA and there ProBowl

cose> Ok nice easy start How do you feel finally helping BIA to win a championship?
Sika> oh well.. probably relieved most of all :)
cose> What do think was the turning point in the finals.. After going down 1 game to 0 did you always have confidence ?
Sika> we were missing tak in the 1st game :)
cose> tak has gone from AML newbieness to being the lynchpin of your squad. Is he that good?
Sika> id say he is like the most consistent pilot i've ever played with :) never seen him do bad.. except in pracs :/
Sika> a true teamplayer i might add =)
cose> Solid play is obviously a key in Pro league why do you think BIA won over so many other good squads?
Sika> we had a very good team and we enjoyed playing together.. we had a lot of fun
cose> How do you see your role in that team?
Sika> heh :P they called me as their shield :( but i guess my role was playing offensively and killing :)
cose> by shield you mean you could take more damage than most?
Sika> yeah i think they were suggesting that =)
cose> Is your lag just good old fashiened 14.4 modems or is there a darker secret to it all? :)
Sika> a cable modem with upstream problems :)
Sika> played finals game 3 with a 33.6 modem though.. until i lagged out twice :/ guess the big spawn was too much for it =(
cose> your lag has been a constant source of conversation in game have you anything to say to the whiners?
Sika> well.. im already tired of whining about my packets not reaching the server but oh well.. they dont seem to understand that not only my movement packets are not ignroed but weapon packets as well
Sika> uh did that make any sense
cose> a little :) in a finnish comedian way haha
Sika> Sika> well.. im already tired of whining about my packets not reaching the server but oh well.. they dont seem to understand that not only my movement packets are ignroed but weapon packets as well
Sika> thats what i mean :)
cose> it has been suggested that you have 7 fingers which help you toggle x continuosly is there any truth in those rumours
Sika> no :P
Sika> everyone who has seen a gamepad knows how easy it is to access multiple buttons in no time
cose> Finally how many more championships can BIA win (if they return)
Sika> as long as we are motivated to win and the core players dont change much i dont see us losing pro finals in a while :/
cose> Wow that is confidence.. anyone reading this you have your motivation to beat the SikaTANk down
Sika> already seen a few motivation droppings though :/
cose> Do you have any final words for your massive fan base in the USA?
Sika> hmm.. i guess it has to be something lag-related :) how about.. wait till i get ADSL ? =)
cose> Then we shall fear no more :)
Sika> no.. thats when you'll see my true skills = ) )

cose> The MAN the LEGEND THE AML NEWBIE
cose> I give you TAK
tak> haha :c
tak> hi there
cose> how has the last week been a wild orgy of women drink partys and cocaine?
tak> totally, the chicks dig a good spaceship pilot
cose> by the way this is the interview :P
cose> that must be why i am gay :(
tak> lol
cose> How do you come from being an AML also ran to one of the most consistent Pro players of the season?
tak> well actually i played pro before, like a half season with RAF
Jinxi> hey, I wont be there at 5
cose> ok how long u got?
cose> ive done sika im doing tak now
tak> i honestly didn't think i was going to start for b.i.a. this season
Jinxi> a few mins :) should be enough
cose> how did you prove to Jinxi your aml skills would be enough to win Pro
cose> hmm doing 2 at once would get confusing :)
tak> we were pretty short on active pilots towards the beginning of the season so jinxi didn't have too much of a choice :p
cose> how did you feel in your 1st game ?? Were the butterflys spinning in your tummy?
tak> in the past i usually got pretty nervous in games but the folks on bia taught me to be more calm
cose> Sika caled you "the most consistent player he has ever played with" quite some praise
cose> Have you any words of praise for Sika other than Lagger?
tak> yeah i would consistently lag out the second half of the season after i moved back to school, but it really is a team effort..
cose> wow the truth of BIA's success is coming out everyone lagged like crazy
tak> yeah sika got major clutches in some of our big games during the season :)
tak> pft i only lagged after i moved back to school..
cose> #2 pilot in no mean feat did you try to assassinate hook so that you could be #1?
tak> many many times
tak> he just wouldn't die though :c
cose> You didnt pay enough is what you are saying.. i know a man that would kneecap someone for 100$
tak> omg why didn't you hook me up earlier
cose> and if he was in a bad enough mood he would just do it for the fun of it.. want me to get him to contact you?
tak> yes for future purposes, hehehe
cose> How do you see BIA improving on this season.. is there any motivation to go for it again?
tak> a lot of us were really motivated to win it this season, next season i hope it stays the same
cose> Were you the deciding factor in BIA winning the finals after you missing game 1?
tak> i don't think so, game 1 was very close and we could have won it if not for some dying with reps :p but i did want to play in the finals since i played most of the season
cose> Ok to end up you have many girls many cars a big house what have you left in life to achieve?
tak> an aml championship! ... jk :) ?
cose> haha you never know :)
cose> HAve you anything to say to your enemies to wrap this up?
tak> yes, to assassins they had a great season and made it very fun to play :)
cose> Thanks for your time !
tak> thanks cose

cose> BIA Pro champions how many sleepless nights have you had thinking that it would never happen?
Jinxi> none, all the ss failures have been easy to pass
cose> SS is just a hobby?
Jinxi> of course you might feel pissy for a while, but that always passes quickly
Jinxi> ss is logging on during sundays & being on for an hour or two. that's about what it is for me, I don't know what you'd call it. Maybe a habit.
cose> So no deep long nights worried about where your next MVP will come from?
Jinxi> no :)
cose> not even a tear as teh final whistl blew?
Jinxi> no sorry :) it's not that big a thing as you might think it is. It felt good, that's a fact. But still, gotta put things into perspective =)
cose> ah i had you down as some sort of anorak waiting for the day endlessly in search of that elusive title while still clinging to the dream of being the boyhood hero
cose> maybe i got you mixed up with someone else :)
Jinxi> it's a good feeling, to finally get something you've been going for, after all these years. Even though I've mostly always played strictly for the fun of it.. hmm the purpose of playing league is really competition.. who can beat who
cose> How will you motivate your team to continue the winning ways into the new season?
Jinxi> I don't know, frankly I'm a lousy captain. I'm never online. I don't email. I seldom visit our msgboard. I don't practice. I pick starters. haha :)
cose> The best captains are the silent ones :)
cose> Who has been your best pilot this season? Or are they all too good ?
Jinxi> everyone who carried to team through the season deserves a mention here.. in alphabetical order I'd say one of the best combinations of pilots to choose from has to be hook sika tak xviper & zb
Jinxi> depends what kind of play is needed
cose> Did you have your doubts about tak. LAst season AML newbie this season #2 rated?
Jinxi> he got his chance and never looked back. Raperamix's quality pick
cose> When did you believe this could be your season?
Jinxi> tak's playing abilities suit BIA well, I've always enjoyed playing fast-styled ss.. offense oriented
Jinxi> when tuna & xviper got along, even though I knew they'd not play much... thing is, I knew they wouldn't play for anyone else, either =)
cose> Sometimes it takes a couple of opposites to bring a team together united
Jinxi> this season the spirit inside the team was possibly the most positive ever
Jinxi> we have a 'no assholes' policy
cose> damn i was gonna apply to join next season :)
Jinxi> our season with High Gain, 0Nethervoid & Underlord almost killed us
cose> all very different characters i am sure you can agree
Jinxi> sure we had a good run but it was absolutely awful
Jinxi> ..trying to limit the # of hang-arounds too ;
cose> LOL
cose> probably a good thing them 3 left to make a new squad then?
Jinxi> yeah, I always felt it was a one-season deal
Jinxi> I visited their squad earlier for one season, they visited mine
cose> your squad has recovered expanded and now sits aloft the mountain. Where next?
Jinxi> trying to defend the title sounds fun.. or we might alias and do something fun
Jinxi> thing is, right now I don't think we're looking for anything serious... nobody wants to commit to this game so much as to take pressure from playing well or winning
cose> A league needs its champions in any shape or form
Jinxi> only during the last couple of games did we try very hard, especially when we shut out Fun 12-0 (hi diox, fuck you) .. just to make a statement and to prove a point. Firstly that we don't need Sika to win, secondly that diox can't backup
Jinxi> what he says (he was talking so much smack.. and has been afterwards, poor fellow)
cose> finally have you won anything as important as a Pro Bowl? like the egg and spoon race at school or maybe even a teddy bear from the circus in town?
cose> This is for Dioxide - can you feel the love?
Jinxi> I won bingo once at school, when I was a kid. This was in a language class in the late 80s
cose> and your prize for that must have been amazing to surpas a ProBowl?
Jinxi> swedish.. yuck
Jinxi> hehe
Jinxi> I don't remember what the prize was =)
cose> free milk a kiss from the good looking girl?
cose> or a wet smooch with the head teacher?
Jinxi> prolly something lamer :( like a book
cose> In closing do you have any words of wisdom i can pass onto the Oracle when i see her next?
Jinxi> not that getting a wet smooch from the head teacher is too appealing or anything =)
Jinxi> if you wanna win, put togeter a bunch of people who know how to play, trust them, play tight, have fun
cose> Bravo thanks :)
Jinxi> no prob, that was over 20 mins now was it not
cose> maybe a few sec or so :)
