Thanks to everyone for another great season
General News by Demishadow on November 21, 2005 at 03:30 PM

Now that the season is over I would like to thank everyone who participated in another great season. I hope you all enjoyed the competition in each of your leagues and decide to play again next season. Some information has already come out about next season and there is most likely more information to come. As the league coords look to be remaining the same for next season you can continue to contact them for any questions/concerns. (Miz - AML, blur - IML, Nelson - Pro).

To the staff, thanks for all your hard work!!!! I look forward to working with you all again next season. Yaya, ill try to put in some more hours, ref some more games :)

Demi.

Season Champions
General News by Mizerie on November 21, 2005 at 10:40 AM

Another notch in the belt of Premier history. We had a great season this time around and with the introduction of the first ever rating scale for AML we had some intense and fair competition in that league. The rating system will contine to be used as the staff has seen a new breath of life in IML because of it.
Congratulations to all the Champions from this past season. The offseason this time is going to stretch out a little longer while we get the holiday season out of the way. Be ready to rock once again around the start of the new year, and dont forget to get all your friends involved in Premier league...lets drag those Trench Wars players out of that silly zone and into ours.
Once again Congrats to the following teams for winning the championships.

Pro Tourney Update
General News by Nelson on November 13, 2005 at 08:58 PM

Brackets have been setup for the pro tourney commencing this weekend. The bracket can be viewed at: Tourney Bracket

Captains please fill out your rosters and schedule your matches. Players that play on your roster during the tourney will be locked on your roster for the remainder of this season. However, you will be able to add players on to your roster during the off season.

Since my last post, Creation will not be returning; hence, there are now 4 open spots available. Good luck to all the teams.

Pro Tourney
General News by Nelson on November 08, 2005 at 01:19 PM

First of all, congratulation to Assassins for another championship.

Pro will be holding a tourney to fill the empty spots. I believe there are 3 available. If your AML or IML team wishes to move up into pro, you must sign up your team on the waiting list on the pro forum. One spot is already reserved for the IML champions.

Given the time frame that we have to work with and Christmas / New Years quickly approaching, the format will be double elimination best of 1 matches. The tourney will commence Nov 20th. Seeding will be determined by order of signup. Even though it is unnecessary to seed teams, it is only a means to have some sort of randomness; which is why we have double elimination, in case one team gets a bad "draw/seed".

Given the fact that 5 teams have dropped since the end of the season, no current pro team will have to defend their spot for next season.

Top 3 finishing teams in the tourney will have a spot in pro next season. Squads must sign up by THIS sunday, Nov 13th. This tourney should not run into Christmas.

On a general note to the pro population, we can expect the new season to start after New Years.
