I am very sorry about the downtime the site had. Since Saturday evening I believe.

Here is what happened, the web domain www.shanky.com expired. I didnt know it was time to renew and it expired. I have been dealing with this since Sunday.

So if you are seeing this message, well your ISP updated your DNS server and everything is back to normal.

All the blame is on myself for being silly enough to not remember to renew the domain name. Lesson learned and I am sure that I will not repeat this again next year, or ever.

For everyone running the host file hack, you no longer need it (unless your ISP is very slow in updating their DNS server). To test how good your DNS server is, this site got its name back a little after midnight eastern (like 30minutes ago).
